About Tommy
What's With The Hair?
Believe it or not, I wasn’t born with this glorious look. It all started as a joke—during a college Sign Language skit called “The Walking Deaf” (yes, genius title). Playing a Zombie Interpreter, I messed up my long hair, accidentally creating a dreadlocks effect. I sent a pic to my fiancée (now wife), joking that I could pull it off. Her response? “YES. DO IT.”
So, like any smart man, I did. And you know what? It just felt right.
I rocked locks for seven years, then cut them off for charity. Tried blending in with a “professional” style, but it wasn’t me. So when the world hit pause during Covid, I hit reset—bringing back the look that makes me feel like me.
Some people love it. Some don’t. But this isn’t about them. It’s about owning who you are.
When you feel good about how you show up in the world, you radiate confidence. You stand out. You’re remembered. That’s exactly what I bring to every hypnosis show—bold, high-energy, unforgettable experiences.
So I’ll leave you with this: Do you look as interesting as you feel?
About Me
Hi, I’m Tommy, and for the past two decades, I’ve been captivating audiences with laughter, amazement, and transformative experiences. I’m known as the Hockeytown Hypnotist, having been featured on Fox 2 Detroit to discuss my book, Trance-Formed: Hypnosis through the lens of Scripture, as well as many podcasts nationwide.
My journey into hypnosis started in high school when I skeptically volunteered as a test subject for a friend. To my surprise, it worked—and that single moment ignited a passion that turned into a full-time career. Since then, I’ve performed for thousands, from small gatherings to major corporate events for companies like Thomson Reuters. While I began my career touring as a musician, my true calling has always been on stage, blending imagination and comedy through interactive hypnosis shows. I ensure every performance is tailored to the unique energy of each event, making participants the stars of the show—always with fun and respect.
But my work goes beyond entertainment. I also specialize in therapeutic hypnosis – helping people overcome challenges such as quitting smoking, managing anxiety, and making lasting life changes. I’ve seen how hypnosis can unlock personal growth, and I’m proud to offer both laughter-filled shows and meaningful healing experiences.
